BAND INFO

The summer of 2006 will mark the 5th year that the PIK Crew has been performing.  Seven of the original nine members are still together.  Their third CD, “Waitin’ At The Station”, was performed live, capturing the fun the group has playing.

The PIK Crew has played many festivals and shows in Ohio and Indiana, including Mountain Days and Applachain Days in Dayton, Oh; The Vince Combs Festival in Xenia, Oh and Bean Blossom, In; Roundeyes Park in Painter’s Creek, Oh; The Baum Opera House in Miamisburg, Oh, and Wes Wells Festival in Indiania.  They opened for Special Consencus in Wilmington, Oh.  They also perform at  benefits, community events, nursing homes, and fund raisers.  One of their favorite places to play is the Brookville Music Center 706 Market St. Brookville, Oh. Some of the band members and family members are part of the staff, helping with the Wednesday Night Bluegrass Jam and other shows. Check us out at BMC.com

An article on the PIK Crew appeared in the April, 2003, issue of Bluegrass Unlimited, and our second CD, “Roll On Train” was listed in an issue of Bluegrass Music Profiles.

They are booked for several shows for the 2006 season, and have had to turn down several shows because of work schedules, family vacations, school events, and Scouting activities. All of this is a very important part of these young peoples lives and we work music around that.
